Company Perks ;)

I'll have a new crossfire convertable to drive for the weekend. I'll take pictures and upload them and give my own little review

I hope I don't like it too much. I don't have room in the garage for another toy!

VegasCrossfire 05-04-2004 03:48 PM

 Why don't you try to talk them into letting you use it NEXT weekend and join us in CA

Now THAT would be a perk 8)

Have a great time :!:

DFWSBR 05-04-2004 03:57 PM

No doubt it would. I think they better not or I might never return

Something about driving down the coast line, warm beach air blowing through my hair.. oh wait.. I shave my head. Well nevermind  8)

Hey DFWSBR, I'm looking into getting a sportscycle like the Yamaha R1, but I'm a beginner so I've been trying to find a less powerful bike with the same look. Do you have any suggestions? I'd like 500cc or less. I found a nice Aprilia RS125 125cc bike, but I'm not sure I like the idea of it being that short on power (80mph topspeed, 115 when derestricted). So, do you know any bikes or even websites that could help me out?

Now I know for sure... the coupe looks better. :D Man, even in SSB I think that 'thing' looks ugly. Oh well, never been a ragtop guy....

Did you get a feel for difference in head room?

AZ Outlaws 05-07-2004 02:03 PM

DFWSBR,

Forget about the ragtop... what kind of camera are you using. Good pictures.

Seriously tho, not a bad looking convertable. IMO the car still looks better as a coupe, but then others may really like it.

Thanks for the pictures.

 this along with the SLK320 would be the only 2 convertables I'd consider.. In my price range that is

Who would actually turn down an SL55 amg  not i :) *dream car

Head room is greater. Even windows are slightly larger. I never had head room issue before. I guess I'll pick up a few taller friends this weekend and see if they had the same issues as before in my coupe.

Olympus C-700 Ultra zoom with 10x optical zoom. 128mb card. Shot everything at high quality. It is only 2.1 megapixel. I'm sure they have higher ones now. This one does do a great job though :)

Great pictures - I have an Olympus C-3000 (3.3 megapixel) that doesn't do any better.

I happen to really like the rag-top, heading out to the garage with a hacksaw now  to "alter" my coupe. Seriously, the best of both worlds would be to have one of each, I visualize a yellow convertible next to my SSB. Thanks for posting those pictures.

Great Pics - Thanks!

What are the panels that look like sun visors on either side of the roof latch?

prowler39 05-10-2004 09:27 PM

:D Can you get a pic with the trunk open, will my golf clubs fit??

You know what? I was going to take this shot before I returned it. I totally forgot. I spent 3 hours doing a hand detail on it. I wanted to make it look good for whoever got it next.

The thing with the truck is this. It has the same spacing as our trunk. However, there is a divider that you must have in place in order for the top to come down.

To answer your question about the clubs, yes they will fit. However the top will need to be up. I don't think you could fit a full golf bag in there with the top down.
