1st the interior:
Added "Corinthian Carbon Fiber" wrap to the Crossfire to get rid of the silver bits. Over all looks good IMO. Matches the cedar seats and slate trim pretty well.

Painted the engine cover. Added "warm" air intake and red hose looms. Totally stole the idea from CrossfireLTD in the "Show us your engine thread" but added the silver lines red cone filters and also figured out how to mount the intakes straight forward.

I also re-badged her with Mercedes emblems, wheels, trunk, hood, steering wheel etc.. She's now a Cross-Merc.

I swapped out the stereo for a nicer unit with more controls and satellite radio and I-phone controls. I also added a 10" sub and 500w amp. Amp is on top of stock amp location where foam was. No overheating issues so far. Went with a Bazooka tube so it would be easy to remove if I needed to stuff a suitcase in the trunk.
I added the inline resister on the mids and highs. I kept the stock 6.5" subs. Adding the 10" really fills out the sound when the top is down. Folks next to me can feel the bass :D I have new Pioneer premier 6.5" and tweets with a new amp to replace the infinity stuff when Mike has time to install.

Final touches done on the engine cover. Also added a Merc emblem. Love the cover now, wish it would fit the V8.

I'm really digging that carbon fiber wrap, makes the interior look much more sporty. And hows that "warm" air intake sound, lol.

Corinthian carbon fiber is the modern version of 'Corinthian Leather' which had absolutely no leather in it at all. It's a pity Ricardo Montalban is not around anymore to promote it or it would be much more well known.

Corinthian is almost a Chrysler trade mark. ;)

The Corinthian is a Chrysler joke. I got the wrap at pep boys auto for 19.99. It comes in a 48 x 24 sheet. You can do the entire interior if you don't make any mistakes. I needed two.lol

You did a great job on the interior, I like the fact that all the weave is mostly in the same direction, makes it look more OEM, IMHO.

I think the mercedes badging is a little much, but that is simply my opinion, I have never really had a reason to make the car scream mercedes, it is subtle enough that when people ask, and they do quite frequently, I can explain.

Nice work.

Looks awesome! like the CF wrap, and i'm digging those daytime running lights too. I know you said no over heating issues with the amp but having two amps in that location with NO air circulation at all would make me reallyyyy nervous. After a few hours i would expect that amp to be uncomfortable to the touch, and with nowhere to vent, seems like you might as well microwave the thing.

I know how that goes, even with no badging at all

If you pull the amp up.. you will notice a plastic hose in the area..which is where AIR is pulled from to cool the RCM component box.. air does get circulated.
