New member looking at a crossfire

Hi guys

looking at a 2005 crossfire roadster limited with 85k

auto trans cleans and appears to be in nice shape and only 2 owner and a clean car fax.

could you fill me in on typical issues with this car.

I am very handy and have built and run jeeps in the woods for years.
thanks

I bought a 2005 with 89k.

runs good looks even better

I changed plugs, valve cover gaskets, breather gaskets,
drive belt and oil inspection cover then degreased the engine.

looking into tranny fluid change....

i like the german engineering and the simplicity of the design

Just letting you know, they don't run worth crap in the woods. You'll be disappointed. However, they are wonderful on twisty back roads.

They are not good on gravel roads either, ask Frank. (You thought everyone had forgotten, didn't you?)
I got mine in June of 2012, I have changed the oil and air filter. Otherwise I just had fun with it.
It is the most excitement you can have with your pants ON.

thanks guys
so far its been a good car, I made a dipstick checker and the fluid is nice and RED so im going to hold of on the trans fluid change for a few months.

the only thing that I dont like is the slight rough idle, other than that it runs great and pretty fast
