Default Could have been driving a roadster...

Ok... as many people know... I recently modified my '04 limited coupe to look just like the '05 SRT-6 Coupe. I removed the motorized wing, added the SRT-6 emblem etc. I did nothing with the motor or rims. A dealer (yesterday) could not tell the difference, but knows it is not an '05 Coupe.

Here is where the dealing comes in... I mentioned to him that I would like to own an true SRT-6, but the price was insane and not worth it. He then asked me if I would like to own a Roadster. Sure!? How much? I got them down to $35,500 for the covertible including the $2,000 rebate. They will give me $26,500 for my car and I offered to put $5,000 down. The roadster is the limited with navigation system, two tone interior, 6 speed etc. Sweet! I think I will pass though.

I can always go fly the PPG on nice afternoons or drive the motorcycle when I want the top down.

I just wanted to post the numbers for the rest of the people here.

What the hell are you talking about? How do you know your car looks like an '06 SRT-6...those don't exist yet. Also, you say the roadster has 2-tone paint...that doesn't exist either!

Sorry, I was obviously under the influence or had my head up my *** at the time of the post. MY BAD! I meant '05 and not two tone paint... two tone interior. Boy, I must really be a dip **** huh? Jesus, what an arrogant *****. GFY.

Yes, you live in FL, so you can drive your motorcycle most days, but with a Roadster is easy to put the top up if you're out and it rains, or gets a little cold (like in MI). I guess the more time that goes by, the cheaper the roadsters will get!
Have fun, summers comming! (Bet you're glad you're on the gulf side, I hear the sharks like the east coast!)
p.s.: any pics of your wing mod?
