They are pretty much the same, maybe the auto is slightly better.
It depends on the driver more than the transmission.
I usually see 30-32 on the road at 55-60 with my auto roadster.

If Flintshire is in Wales then you can expect one sixth more mpg than the US figures as the gallon is larger there and more costly too.
We used the Imperial gallon in Canada before litres came and I got about the same mpg as per ala_xfire.

My six previous six speed delivered around 29.9mpg (compare that to Ala_Xfire' auto) when I went on a long trip and drove the car gently for 3200 miles.

Expect about 15 - 20 when tearing thru curves and enjoying the drive, like we did over here last weekend on our "Tail of the Dragon" adventure.

Simply stated, the difference between 6 speed and auto is not enough to matter. But the version you want to drive.

To "piggyback" on pizzaguy's feedback, I averaged 26.5 mpg over 596.8 miles during the ToD (Tail of the Dragon) event last weekend in the NC mountains. I averaged 27.6 mpg driving up & back, running speeds between 70 & 80 mph. I averaged 24.0 mpg in the mountains, using the AutoStick shifting capabilities, which isn't bad considering all the curves & "twisties" we drove on. If you want to see some longer term results for an AutoStick, see the attached file.

Only for the EPA. I get mid-20s with the manual but do not drive for economy.

I have a six speed and driving thru the hills and twistys about 50 mph i have averaged around 32-33 mpg on non ethanol about the same as ala xfire. And it's been consistant as I don't beat the car, I bought it for pleasure. Just my type of traveling in Pa.on the back road 2 lane black tops.

My experience over 56k miles agrees with Pnw, but I rarely drive below 75 on the interstate. Now, the SRT6 by comparison is a much rougher ride and only gets 24-26 mpg. It would help if I did not blast to 90-100 at least twice per tank of gas.
