Peeling on Inside of Door Handles
Just purchased a 2005 Limited Roadster in great condition. I was hoping someone could help me with this: I have no idea what it is but on the inside of the door handles (the pull bar you use to close the door from the inside) there is a plastice coating that's peeling in a specific area. Almost like there was a label there that peeled off. What's bad is that what's left is crackling with sharp edges. I actually sliced my pinkey getting in. Maybe there was a rubber pice there originally that was pulled off with remnants of the adhesive left behind. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I’ve also seen some folks cover the handle with a laced/sewn leather cover that looks pretty good. |

This is the solution These simply wrap around the handle and velcro holds them tightly in place https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...93a8eaf73b.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...9f9f285bb3.jpg |

Some great input - thanks all. I wanted to keep the look original so i bought Crystal Clear Gorilla Tape and it worked great. Perfect size and easy to do. I highly recommend this simple fix.
