Crossfire Won’t Stay Running
Need help. 2007 Crossfire, base model with 22,000 miles and it won’t start. I turn the key and engine starts for about a second and dies. I can do that two or three times. The fourth time the starter doesn’t kick in. I’ve tried disconnecting the battery cables and held them together for ten seconds and that didn’t fix the problem. I tried the soldering of the RCM and that didn’t work either. It has a new battery. What should I try next?
Sorry to say it sounds like a bad SCREEM Module. I would replace the RCM first and if that doesn't work contact SOS Diagnostics about repairing the SCREEM.
Thanks for everyone’s recommendations. It was the key fob. I replace the key fob case before it stopped working. I tried my spare key and it worked fine.
You did swap the small chip that is in the fob at the front, without it the car will not run.
