Default crossfire SRT6 roadster 29K

The Chrysler Dealer near me just got in five crossfires. One of them is a 2005 SRT6 Roadster with 2,700 miles for $29,996.00. What a deal. The listing says 32K and change but I went by there today and the window said $29,996.00. With a little haggling I'll bet it can be had for 28K. I wish I could afford another one. It's at Huntington Beach Chrysler in Huntington Beach California. They got three roadsters and two coupes. They must be buying them from other dealers at rock bottom prices.

I bought my SRT6 coupe from HB Chrysler last January. 670 miles on it at the time for $28,800 they even included an 8 year factory warranty. The previous owner was Chrysler.

There is a possibility that these low mileage dealer acquired srts are track experience cars. They get sold to dealers after Skip Barber uses them. I doubt they are trade ins. Check for very worn or warped discs and loose or clunking differentials as these are the most common issues the track guys deal with.

If you go to their website, it gives the car fax report. It looks like it could have been a repo and then an auction car. Unless there are mechanical problems that is still a great price for under 3K miles.

I looked at http://www.hbchryslerjeep.com/ but I didn't see the ones you were referring to. Can you please give the specific address? Thanks.

Click on the certified used cars link, and it is there. It shows 31K now but as I stated, the window sticker said 29.9K. That is a steal. It is black!!!

Man, I'm having a rough time finding the car. When I clock on "certified pre-owned" I see only 4 crossfires, all of the limited variety. In fact, I scoured the site looking and I only see one SRT-6 roadster -- black. This one though they have had for months and is listed at 32,XXX.

Is anyone doing a better job of finding these cars on the site?

The black one is the one I saw had a sticker for 29.9K. It may have been a year end special. I hadn't seen it there before so I assumed is was a recent acquisition. http://www.hbchryslerjeep.com/used_v...71551038b53b29

Ah ok. Thanks for clarifying.

That car they have had for a couple months. They started it at $34,900, and at the time I was looking for a black SRT6 roadster, so I was going to offer $32k, which I felt was a fair price, but the salesman said they wouldn't move much from their price. My guess is that they won't move much below $30k which is a fair price, but not a great deal.

They will move on the price... But, check with user "Danno" about checking if the car was used for the SRT Track Experience... He works at Chrysler and has access to the "scoop" on the car's previous history. User My65cuda sold his heavily modded black roadster for $31K (Had Renntech PCM and pulleys, 375 HP) and he had only 4K miles on it, with about $5K into it for mods, possibly more...

My wonderful (independent) Mopar mechanic told me that the "crate" price of the NA 3.2 xfi engine was $10,000.00, but the hand built blower version was 30 Gs in a box. Now, whether there's a man alive to ever order one is a question for HDDP!
