Re: difference between srt and normal??

After owning a limited for 2 years I bought a SRT. Truth be told my Dad and I think the Limited handled better. I know I will probably get a lot of hate for that statement but thats what we think. I still love the power of the SRT and I don't have any plans on getting rid of it. So basically we think the SRT is super quick and the limited is really agile. Both are a lot of fun to drive.

As far as the difference between motors the limited is plenty powerful enough, but the SRT is like adding a rocket to the back of it.

Nice nice but i asking does the srt have a decal or anything on it because my buddy got one from his dad and doesn't know which one he has...yeah sounds pretty stupid eh.

There should be an SRT6 emblem on the trunk lid, SRT6 on the engine, SRT6 on the seats, and a big fixed wing on the back (among other things). These should be pretty obvious.

If it has a big wing on the back it's an SRT. There is also a badge on the back that say's SRT. You can also look under the hood where it say's SRT twice on the engine.

Re: difference between srt and normal??

The 330 HP roadster is not a Limited, it is an SRT6.

Visual differences are the SRT6 has; a fixed wing, chin spoiler, 15 spoke wheels, larger front brake rotors and calipers, SRT6 badge on deck lid, seats with Alcantara suede inserts and SRT6 logo stitched into the headrest, 200 MPH speedo, SRT6 logo on tach face, engine has a unique belt cover with separate air box covers, SRT6 letters cast into the exposed valve covers and a supercharger under the belt cover...(did I miss anything).

The easiest way to tell the difference between an SRT6 and Limited is to press firmly on the accelerator pedal...WHEEE. :D

I think you got it covered SRT SIX. :D

Faridk89,

Thinking that the Limited was more agile probably comes from three points.

1. Less power... the more power you have the more you tend to use/abuse it and the car will enter turns much faster and you will be more aggressive exiting the turns too.

2. The Limited has softer suspension which can give the illusion of being more agile as the vehicle's tires respond more quickly than the bulk of the vehicle weight.

3. The SRT6 weighs a bit more. It's like having another 200 pounds of sandbags on your hood near the windshield.

HDDP and I can both attest to the fact that the SRT6 is just as agile or more so as the Limited or Base models.
