All of you guys with the resonator removed - I've still yet to hear one.

Abe's car runs great, but I can't hear the exhaust...mainly the whine from the blower.

I was hoping for something more detailed.

Truthfully Shawn, the car isn't much louder. You do get a little more pop/crack out of it when down shifting. I would try to talk the wife into getting a sound clip with her camra, but I know she won't do it while the car is in the garage. She will absolutely not even be in a garage with a car running, not even for a minute. I can't move it outside at the moment, it's kind of taken apart.

I have a digital recorder I use for meetings, I can go buy a remote mic and take my SRT for a little run after work and then try to download to a sound clip.

How to you want to hear it? From inside the cabin or from outside?

I can dangle the mic out the back hatch or just hold the recorder with the windows open.

She won't let YOU use her camera? I don't understand why she needs to be there for the recording...

 

I'm guessing that Shawn would like to hear the car rev'ed up, not just idling . I don't think I could reach the gas pedal from behind the car .

 

Oh, I was assuming that it was a Video camera that you could prop up behind the car and just hit record. Sorry.

 

She has a Luminix (spelling?) camara that will take a short video with sound, I'm not sure if I got the clip that I could figure out how to post it anyway .

 

ShawnQ, I'm not sure if Roy kept a resonator, but I thought he said it was a straight thru duel exhaust of his own design.

Roy has dual resonators .....one at the end of each pipe.
These were at the end of dual exhaust with know crossover pipe.
I recorded this video clip

 

Roy's car wasn't a SRT6. The SRT's have a seperate resonator from the factory that the base and limited's do not have.

Apkano, I just thought Gary's video of Roy's car in the parking lot would give ShawnQ some idea what it might sound like, (minus the S/C whine) of course.
