Resonator went By By today, FINALLY!
Well, I finally found a shop to remove the resonator after trying 5 different shops. I was starting to think that the exhaust shops in my area were just for show, and never did any actual work.
I'm very happy with the outcome, and yes I kept the resonator. Didn't cost a fortune either.

glad you finally did it Neverenough
What did you pay if you dont mind me asking I had an estimate for $300, and $120 I thought they were both extreme for two pipes
How much louder did it get, and is there any drone through the RPMs?
I'm thinking about doing this very soon, and I thought about removing the rear cats too, but I'm worried that would get too loud for a daily driver.

I paid $85
There is no annoying resonance at highway speed
There is a "slight" increase in vibration due to the increase and tone of the exhaust, but it doesn't bother me. Makes it feel like the car is alive and more performance oriented.
I WOULD NOT remove the rear cats if it's you daily driver, that's going to be way loud. I started it without the rear section of the exhaust connected and it's LOUD!
It did give me an increase in seat of the pants pull at part throttle pulling through 35-55 MPH.
It sounds like a cross between a 350Z with a Cat-Back and an LS1 GTO with exhaust. It's very deep, but still has that 6 cylinder "ring" or harmony to it. Sounds very mean without being too annoying. Cruising with no load on teh engine is only about 20% louder than before. Still comfortable and doesn't drone, but you know it's there.

Perhaps the best way to record would be to mount a remote mic on in the back of the SRT some place - perhaps on the licence plate bracket.
You don't get the true sound of this mod until you open it up on the road.
The SC doesn't engage when in park or neutral so revving at stop won't give you the true sound.
A dive by clip will only give a brief moment. OR you could record from inside the car - in truth that's how you will always hear it anyway.
But the best way is to go for a ride with someone who has done this mod.

Use a good mic and a decent bit rate while recording!! Most examples are horrible when it comes to quality. Ok Ok, i know im being picky!! Hahah
I think I can rig up a mic and tape it to the rear bumper and record it onto my laptop. I have a bad memory, so someone PM to remind me to this on Sunday.
