ill pick up a bottle from our distributor tomorrow and see how it does, well ill add in a coolant temp gauge to the system first and get some before numbers first but this may be a very nice cheap mod for us |
Re: DEI's Chill Charger IC fluid
I put 2 bottles of Redline Water Wetter in mine and it made a difference according to the guage. It used to sit slightly above the 1/2 mark, not it sits below it. I'd guess about a 10 degree drop...

Is this similar to water-wetter? TIA. |

Then it would pretty much stay there unless i was crusing.....

Re: DEI's Chill Charger IC fluid
Has anybody considered swapping the stock thermostat for a cooler one? I did that on my Charger and it is consistantly 20-30* cooler than stock.

Re: DEI's Chill Charger IC fluid
I've tried water wetter and see no difference, as for IC coolant the best liquid is water with no antifreeze. De-ionized of course.

Re: DEI's Chill Charger IC fluid
TVT says that theirs drops the temps from 220* to 180*-185*. I was thinking about getting one. Does anyone have this on their SRT?

Re: DEI's Chill Charger IC fluid
Their ad says "We've left the stock opening temperature as to not interfere with the fan or heat." It looks like it's just a swap out and top off the coolant.

Re: DEI's Chill Charger IC fluid
Like waterwetter...you need to swap out your entire volume of coolanat to make any real difference. One bottle doesn't make any noticable change in temp biggest change is in your wallet. Topped off with two bottles...net change was 17 dollars
