I was heading back to work and wanted a bit of fun. I caught up to a modified 5.0 mustang and dropped her down a few gears to really rumble the exhaust. He attempted a take off and as the black smoke cleared, I knew there was no contest. However there was a C5 corvette behind us, but they usually don't want to play. The speed limited is stickly enforced on base so I just romped it a little here and there. I like seeing the expression on peoples faces as they puzzle at my car. Well the guy in the Vette works in my building so we got to chatting as we walked in. He doesn't believe that my car is faster than his. Basically that a Crossfire doesn't have the power that his precious has. I just told him that I have numbers as great or greater than a C6, and that I would kill his C5, in the nicest way . He is going to keep an eye out for me so he can see for himself. That is my funny story, but does the story end?
