Default SRT-6 vs. Maybach 62

I lined my front bumper up with one of the Maybachs we have in the shop for a little "does size matter" comparison.................enjoy.

I'm probably biased but I think the SRT-6 looks hotter.

It's a family thing - so it's all good. At 25K each (Maybach about $450k?), you could by about 18 SRT-6's. Now that would be a lot longer, even sideways, than the Maybach. Those 18 engines would collectively produce, at 350 HP per, about 6,300HP. You could transport 36 people. You'd run a bit slower than the Maybach, but you could drive a different color car 4 days a week. Maybe even a convertible. I think it comes down to the warranty. That, and you can't get your Maybach serviced at a Chrysler dealership....well maybe I guess you could, but would you.....

I don't know what the conversion is.............but the Maybach 62 is 6.2meters long(thus the 62.............the 57 is 5.7meters long).

I have sat in the back of that exact car. Legroom legroom legroom and how do you like how thick that carpet is in back? The interior is so comfy and the motor has enought oomph to make anyone happy.

LoL, You aint lying! I wonder what that thing would run though.....604hp and 738pds of torque in the S version?! Wow! Even at its hefty 6050 curb weight, it's gotta move pretty good! I would guess in the 13sec range.....

You would have to get inside to really appreciate this car, these things are complete luxury! Not to be driven but to be driven in.

I'm sure it's amazing inside, but for 450,000 it better turn some heads. It should look opulent. Instead, it looks just like a big, out of date Mercedes. I saw one of these in Louisville parked on the street and almost walked right past it before I noticed what it was. I've heard they are stopping production.

Yeah, those rear seats recline (with foot rest) don't they?

You can sleep back there in total comfort. The carpet you put your feet on is like 5 inches thick...you can practically swim in it!

Yes, they're similar to the first class seating on a really good airline. Legroom is crazy in these things and they just drip opulence and luxury. I see a couple of these per week here in SoCal, one time with a single passenger in the back seat: an Irish Terrier pooch being driven by a bald headed gentleman who's suit matched the paintjob of the car.

Yes, if it comes with the driver - for the $450k - what's a full time limo driver make these days? Though if you really want to impress other drivers on the road - I think Maxcichon has the right idea with the mining dump truck. You get the best view on the road, and it's probably a hell of a lot more expensive to boot!
