I'm tellin ya guys this is a great deal for anyone who wants track time.
I went last time and did 22 runs and could have easily done 20 more with all the time available.
It is a private event at a track out in the boonies in Morocco Indiana.
8 hours to run back to back if you want.

See my sig for a few videos from my last time at track day.......

I'm itchin to attend, but it's a real long drive for me (from Pennsylvania) and I'm already spending too much money this summer - Vegas, Carlisle, Orlando, Woodward... ugh!!

So many events, so little cash. :p

Sounds great. Long way from here in Montana but will check the schedule and see if it is a possable. Haven't played on drag strips in 32 years. I have spent all effort on Road Courses. What better way to get back into the strip than with Crossfire Buddies!?
Enjoy the Ride...
Mike

Last time it was 20 cars but Wayne (ChicagoX) made a few exceptions so I think there were actually about 24 cars.
Wayne is from the Mercedes forum and LET buys the track for the private event.

It's supposed to be 20, as VRG stated. We can always squeeze in a couple more. :)

I really wish it wasn't such a long trip for me, I'd like to be there. It just to darn expencive for a motel room the night before and gas to get there & back, last time I had over $400 in coming up there. My wife & I talked about it, but she was out of town most of last week and will be out of town again all week this week on business again. She said when she gets bak at the end of the week, she just wants to stay at home for the weekend.

I hear ya Steve. I'd _really_ love to attend, but between the loooooooooong drive, and costs, and the four other mini-vacations I'm taking this summer, it's just not possible. :( :( :( :(

Yeah tom2112, it's close to a 400 mile round trip for me and probably even double that for you. There isn't a 1/4 mile track with in 100 miles of me, that just sucks, I think the closest is Indy Racway Park and it's over 100 miles from me.

Let me know if you need a place to stay - I can put a few folks up, if needed. We're a block from the beach and 3 miles to 2 different casinos. :)
