tow away protection

Default tow away protection

can anybody give me some info about the tow away protection on a 2005 srt6. Where is it and how it works??? Is It that little pin sticking out of the front driver side lower grill??? Thanx for answering, just wondering what the hell is sticking out there and if its normal,,,,,,

No sir, thats the outside temp. sensor.

The tow alarm is a tilt/shock sensor. I think!

Hmm strange question for a brand new person to the forum, Doing research so you and your buddy with a tow truck can disable one and drive off into the sunset?

Never tought of that one....
But no, acquired vehicule last week and dealer never mentionned about the temperature sensor which i thought had to do with the tow away protection. Check out my pics!!!

Just for grins, have you tried setting off your alarm?
Better yet, try it inside your garage............wear ear protection.

Look at the buttons under your radio and the one next to the passenger heated seat is the tow away alarm on/off switch.

You have a graphite coupe just like me . do you like it? it was my second choice to black but now that i have it i love it and dont even look back!

Hi, do i like it??? I love it!!! The first i went to see to purchase was also black but i noticed paint leaks on the bottom passenger door so i backed away, need i say more?? I really think my graphite gray looks better after all. And yes i do drive off in the sunset but with my wife. LOLS
