It is only an 1/8 mile track but I wanted to do some testing before I went to MIR. The track was slick, the best I could get was a 1.97 60' lol.

I should be able to squeeze a little more power out of the car before the big race in Maryland.

That was one of my friends that went to the track with me. We had a great time but the track was not all that great. A few of the people I was there with suggested going the extra way to Bristols 1/4 mile track, supposedly it is a very good one.

 

I love that supercharger whine sound !!

 

It sucks I can not hear it from inside the car except when I first hit the gas.

All you need to do is look at the times the cars ran and you can figure it out from there. As for which car won, the first one to cross the line is the car that won. Sometimes your car will run faster times than others depending on the launch you get, and so on. A faster car does not always win the race as you can see in the videos. That is the entire point of racing.

What sort of times does your car run? Post up some track videos of you and your crossfire so I can check them out. I am anxious to see how you do at the track.

 

well once again your trying to start another argument in another thread! if you read the thread you will see that someone said nice kill on the EVO, i was simply stating that the evo is actually faster since it was able to run an 8.0xxx. i NEVER said anything about my car being faster. so if that makes you feel better about yourself than good! its sad that if it does though. try to show some signs of maturity in the future.

 

Wow, do not be so sensitive. You just made a critical post as you typically do in my threads and it sounded like you did not understand the basics of racing. I simply tried to explain to you how it works when you are at the track and asked to see some of your track videos since you seem to feel my track runs were not up to your standards.

If you do not want me to respond to your posts then do not post in my threads. Anyway, I fail to see how me responding to your comment was in any way out of line.

I got a 1.91 at another track but some of the crazy guys on here are getting 1.7's on street tires! It must be nice, lol. That is crazy track prep and good launching skills right there!

 

yeah, I'm probably about 4.5 hours away. I went to Virginia Tech, so I'm familiar with the track and have been there twice this year passing through.

What did your car run prior to the Code 3? With a NeedsWings Intake, Inmotion tune and Resonator delete I was running consistent 8.4s @ 87. I haven't run it since the Pulley and Custom Tune yet,

 

with just the intake and tune i was running 8.2's@86.5 so i think the new tune with the pulley inmotion gave me was bad. i am going on the dyno thursday and i will send the dynograph to inmotion along with my a/f ratio and timing for a new tune.

I do admit i was a little dissapointed with my trap speed but the car was hot from the 2.5 hour drive down. when i ran the similar mph with just a intake and tune i had iced down the supercharger and it was nice and cold. i am sure that made a big difference. it was at a track with a lower altitude as well.

i noticed the 1/8 mile times on dragtimes.com for srt6's were all over the place but the 1/4 mile times were all fairly consistant. i guess the top end is where the pulley really helps.

hopefully my new tune will make a big difference. i am going to provide inmotion with my a/f ratios, timing chart, etc so they can get me a good one this time.

 

if you all come to Bristol give me and call911 a buz.. we are about 1 1/2 hours away.
