Default Still here

It's been a while, but I'm still around. Back in March I blew out my knee, which required months of rehab. I've been concentrating on other things, but I still have my SRT6 and drive it for fun when I'm not taking the Metro subway system. My wife and I relocated to DC due to my military orders, and have since settled in. The roads suck and I've probably bent all my wheels on these crappy streets. The car just sits unless an emergency arises and that is the only car available. It is not fun at all to have a sports car (and a Ducati) on these horrible streets with this horrible traffic. I hate this place!!!

If you need to store any of your puppies for the winter.....I'll make sure they get started up and run every now and then...

I feel you man, I work in DC and I know the roads and the traffic suck something terrible. I don't even bother doing a throttle reset because traffic hardly ever lets up enough for me to get into it while driving to work and back. You should come out 12OCT for the pulley shootout at Maryland International Raceway seeing as you are in the area. Check out the thread. There should be a pretty good turn out of Xfires.

Get out to Virginia, Iam in Manassas and the fall is nice, there are places to see outside of the suicide circle. I have worked there and been there on and off since 1964 which is why I am not there any more. W DY

There are lots local car events and autocrossing too.

That would be cool; however, I'll be at the NHRA Nationals!!

Waldig, my wife and I were looking at houses in Manassas until we realized that the commute which would normally take about 30 minutes in normal cities would take about 2 hours here! Suicide circle, lol!

Hey Waldig, where in Manassas are you?

I live just off Godwin Drive and Cloverhill.

Talking Re: Still here

I live just north of 'John Bobbitville' in what we call Gainesville about 7 miles north of 66 on 234. You have probably seen my Air conditioning vans around the area. I even went to the Burger king last night to see the end of season car show.

My crossfire SRT is black, what color is yours? Maybe I have seen you around without knowing it.

W DY,
