Did those mufflers drone much?

 

Not much. The biggest difference in reducing drone is the dual setup. It makes it deeper and throatier.

My old 3" single setup droned a tad more than this on.

I hope you get want you need for your exhaust. From what I have seen on the forums, exhaust systems and hoods are just too much of a personal preference. Everyone wants one as beatuiful as yours but nobody wants to pay the price it takes to make it. Unless you find that one person(besides you) that thinks it is exactly what he wants and needs. At least until it comes time that they HAVE to replace the exhaust.
Same for the hoods the guys are trying to get together. I love the looks of that XKR hood, but I dont think I would spend the $$$ to have one.(I might snitch it when they're not looking though!)

I also was interested, but with my waranty till 2013, this would not be a easy swap, as with my other mods. I think your exhaust is worth the money! Hope someone picks it up!

 

Man, if I had the money right now you would have a sale for sure. Your exhausts quality is second to none. Big ticket items like that have to be presented at the right time with numbers to back it up. If you can get it on a dyno and you tried selling it around Jan-Feb, youd probably be able to sell a good amount. With the economy being the way it is and people not willing to part with a ton of money like they use to, this sale is going to be hard. Like I said before tho, if my lil payday comes sooner than later, I will definitely buy it.
