I have sat in on two of these chats and asked a few questions. The engineers know pretty much nothing about our cars ( I don't think they had anything to do with building it ? ) It is mainly for srt 4 and 8's!

That is what I heard. They had little to do with the engineering of the 6's. Makes sense really.......

I heard that they tweaked the suspension more than anything...the rest is MB tune as I understand it.

Has anyone asked about different suspension tuning - they might be able to answer that...but agree with above posts that they know nothing else related to the SRT6.

We need to find a MB Engineer chat - English would be helpful, at least Genglish or is it Erman, so we can at least understand a bit? haha!

Later,

Its important to understand our cars weren't built by the SRT division like the other SRT's were. Instead, our cars were given an already built platform that Chrysler put a body on and SRT put a stiffer suspension underneath.

As for R&D and actual development, the SRT group had nothing to do with the car and know nothing about the car.

Holy cow...those chats get worse and worse. It's awesome that the SRT engineering team takes the time to do that sort of thing, but holy cow are there are lot of dumb questions...

Yeah, a lot of wasted time.... still pretty cool they take the time to hold a chat session though.
