Oh my! I bought the Black Mamba and didn't know it!

Now I'm in a pickle because the dealer wants the rusted pulley to return to MB for the warranty repair; and ASP want's it as well to exhange for a replacement.
If I say nothing and let them install the stock Idler I think it may go unnoticed if it fit's ok. Problem is, I then won't have the pulley to exchange for the ASP replacement. Wish they would just do it with the pics I sent. Does ASP really need more proof?

cruzin, interestingly the 115.3 inch belt is cheaper than the 114.5 inch. Everywhere I looked the 114.5 was about $59 and the 115.3 was about $39. I just looked and the Gatorback 114.5 at Summit has dropped to $47.39. hmmmmm......

The part number for NAPA should be K081145 and K081153.
My understanding is that with the crank pulley upgrade, some are making the tensioner very very tight and on others cars the tensioner is not changed. Mine had almost no give at all with the 185 installed, and that's why I went with the bigger belt.
Hope this helps.

Well ASP was kind enough to ship me the Idle Pulley using just the pictures as proof of the rusted defective unit as proof for an exchange. Thanks!
Unfortunately when they change out the water pump and it's pulley nothing is going to fit. I may just have to come clean with the whole thing as I see no way around it at this point really. What does a water pump replacement & pulley cost on this car?

You will need to keep the water pump pulley anyway. Just give the mechanic the new pulley and let him know you were able to find one quicker and had it overnighted. Most don't see enough srt's to know the difference.
