Unless there were substantial grounds for termination, it was probably time to move on anyway. A job not only provides money for the worker, but also $ for the company. Any company that would do that wasn’t worth making money for.

Good for you!
Well, suks initially. Seven years ago I was asked to leave a job because of a security violation (unpublished procedure for connecting to the company LAN with THEIR laptop). Best thing that could of happened to me. New job is more relaxed, pays more, gives me PLENTY of time to visit the forum and I've already moved a ways up the ladder.

That's the worst Xmas present any company can give. Sorry to hear about this happening to you. Good luck with everything.

Not worried at all, already have a better paying job lined up. Didn't like the job anyway. It was meant to be so I look at it in a positive way. Thank god the srt6 and the others are paid off!

lol! I read an account of a guy laid off the week before Christmas during the **** regime. At the bottom of his pink slip it said " Hiel Hitler". Our friend's experience reminded me of that account.

Good for you for staying ahead of the game. I was in a job situation like that one time. I saw the writing on the wall and was one step ahead of them. They were pretty pissed when I put in my notice.
