Darn it! I've got the bug now...
Bought an SRT-6 a few weeks ago where as a few months before that the Chrysler Crossfire wasn't even on my radar. Been enjoying it so much and recognizing how much of a value these cars are with their weak resale- I broke down and bought another one last night. No, no- not another SRT-6 (I wish)- but an n/a 2005 Black Roadster w/ Black n' Rust colored leather interior. The only down-side to the whole car is the fact it's an auto as well. I don't think an auto with this little power will be as fun, but my fiancee preferred auto and it was her car we traded in towards it (Mazda CX-7). lol So now we have 2 crossfires and a Hummer in the driveway. How's that for a contrast!
Anyway I posted some pics here: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...d=1#post331011 The previous owner must have been somewhat of an enthusiast. He removed the rear "CROSSFIRE" emblem logo, installed V6 emblems over the side strakes, a Karmann "badge" on the skirt next to the driver's door???, and installed the Mopar rear strakes on the rear skirt...which I may steal off the roadster to install on the SRT. (PS Anyone know of an online PDF for the installation of this part?) Anyway I just wanted to share that with you. I never thought twice about the Crossfire now I own 2. lol My fiancee (soon to be wife, in 2 weeks!) will primarily be driving it- however I may try to sneak it out and drive it up to TVT Design and have them do a few "upgrades" and see if see if she notices. lol ;) It needs a bit of a punch- it feels like a slug compared to my SRT, and the auto tranny doesn't help. |
Re: Darn it! I've got the bug now....
I see it has the optional valence installed on the rear bumper. Nice.
