Unfortunately, no. Chrysler reports that they don't know.
Karmann (who actually built the cars) doesn't know either.

So we're left to guess. There is a thread for posting SRT-6 VIN numbers, colors and options. They've compiled a decent database of cars, and we can guess at what colors and what numbers.

I don't remember the exact break down, but black was the most popular, and grey (not SSB) was the most rare.

I don't know where it is, but I did an extrapolation a while back from the database numbers using the total number produced, etc. etc...just search for it.

I believe (from when I was involved in actively tracking them) that the SRT6 colors from most sold to least sold were:
1. Black
2. Aero Blue
3. Sapphire Silver Blue
4. Gray
5. Apparently there are 1 or 2 Machine Gray ones out there as well. Seems like someone on here has one.

The other folks are correct, Chrysler nor Karmann have given us any data other than 2,016 SRT6 Coupes and 928 SRT6 Roadsters were made in total. Some of us on here started tracking all SRT6s we could find and creating our own database. Crossfirefun now holds all of that data.

Cheers.

Hey,

I'm new to this forum. I recently saw a new member post their introduction, and I probably won't do that.

I've been lurking here also since I bought my "Graphite Metallic" 2005 SRT6 in August. This car is beautiful. Everything people are saying about power, performance, handling is right on - I love it.

I just wanted to clarify or try to clarify part of the color issue. I have seen people saying Gray, Machine Metal Gray, and Graphite. Here is what I saw on http://www.rsportscars.com/chrysler/...ssfire-srt-6/:

"The Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 is available in four colors for 2006: Aero Blue, Graphite Metallic, Sapphire Silver Blue Metallic and Black."

I'm sure this is personal to some, but I like "Metallic Graphite". I attached a picture of my car.

Anyway, I'm happy to be part of this forum and will get my VIN to the VIN list soon.

You have a ":" at the end of your link that makes it not work.

Just to be clear, what is the "Machine Grey"? I bought my SRT-6 in 2004, and it was labeled
Graphite Metallic. Is this what you are referring to as "grey"?

No, Machine Grey and Graphite Metalic are two different finishes. There was also a Machine Grey Chrystal Pearl according to the brochures. The Graphite is my favorite color.

Machine Grey

Graphite Metallic

The Machine Grey has more of a blue tinge to it...I love that color. If for some reason I need to totally re-paint my car, I'm painting it Machine Grey

Can you find a black one of these Id like to see the diffence between black and machine grey. I like the Machine Grey also, but I don't think it is an SRT6 color.

There's 1 or 2 SRT's that are painted in Machine Grey, 2006 only and had to be custom ordered. I forget who owns it, but he is a member of the forum

Graphite Metallic - the Fastest Color! That is why they only made a few - too much liability to let too many out the door!
