It's that time for new tires
The time has come. I've got the stock Contis with around 16,000 miles. Got a nail in the front driver's tier and the rears are worn, so it's that time. I'm not necessarily looking for all-seasons but want something that handles equally in the wet as they do in the dry. Kind want something that's a little smoother and quieter than what i've got now. I know this has been posted before but I'm in a major rush. Any good suggestions? Thank you!

Yep, Vredstein Sesanta's. The V's!! They are fairly cheap too. I put them on my car and will be putting them on the car again. They grip excellent and are super quiet. :cool: They do wear pretty fast though.

I chose Falken FK542's for just those reasons-good wet traction and smoother ride. They are favorites of the Audi and BMW drivers and are descibed by Falken as UHP sports coupe and sedan tires. Good price and very good handling tires.

Thanks much for the suggestions. Can anyone tell me the difference between the Michelin PS2s and the A/S? Thanks!

And also, if I decided to go with a 265 or 275 on the rears, would I have to go wtih any type of spacer?

You can go up to 285's on the back with no spacers it looks like. That is my plan.....:D

currently using 275/35 on the rear with stock rims and no issues. Nitto Nt555 streets

Going up to 295 is a bit of a stretch, so to speak, and is simply an ill-advised installation. So your plan is a good one. |
