Default Some more questions about my srt-6

Im finished with my DIY cai (pics later tonight). I wanted to know since i plan on doing a dual setup, can i cut/take off the black piping in front of the radiator??? Whats it for? Ive seen a few pics where people have taken it completely off. My other question is, where do i purchase spring pads im looking to get the thinnest ones to go with the Eibachs. Thanks.

What piping are you talking about? Post picture if you can.

I believe he is talking about the plastic part that goes past the radiator support....

If so, yes you should remove it and use some 3" and 2.75" tubing to feed your intakes. Drivers side is slightly smaller than passenger.

edit: didnt answer your question. The only thing that I see it is for is to connect the factory intake tubes to the front and hold them in place.

Maybe i should clarify. Its the 1/4 to 1/2 inch black piping thats always in The way of the aftermarket k&n filters. Ive seen some people bend them and others its completely missing in the pics. Its directly behind the grill.

Yes, I have it sitting in the garage. I just slid the factory lines back in the brackets and the filters cleared fine. The new cooling line from NW gives you all that space free, I just didnt really want to pull the lines out. I was able to get enough room so I dont have any constant rubbing or pressure on the cooling line, so I am good with it.
