i have been trying to get someone to make a c/f front lip for the slk32 like eurodyne has for the c32 and c55 and sl55 . to date nobody makes them but gary at eurodyne may be willing to get one made if there is enough interest. 10 people needed for a group buy. im posted here and on benzworld and slkworld.

thanx mike my car came with the original amg sideskirts that fit!! and an amazing amg bumper!! im looking for a lip that sits below the bumper.
i only posted here because i know the 32 guys read the threads. if all goes well maybe he can get a xfire lip made

Are your side skirts made buy the joker Dan Root or really Mercedes OEM? I keep hearing you have to modify the Mercedes SLK side skirts to fit our cars but can't get anyone to tell me how extensive the modifying conversion would be. Have you expermented with the conversion? Thanks..Squirrel Crusher

 

I just looked at the tread for the sedans. Looks like a nice piece, and probably around $250?

 

I'd def be interested, but I live in the U.K. I guess shipping may be a pain but the SLK32 guys def need a carbon lip for the front and a carbon piece for the rear black bumper/exhaust cover.

 

it will be c/f and i havent gotten enough people to nail down a price. im hoping for the 260$ shipped , but time will tell.

not sure about a duffuser yet our exhaust is on the drivers side and it would look off balance. rear spoiler is available!!

 

What is the design/look? Before I commit I want too know what it is I'm committing too. Of course I think I should be committed!

of course it is. and underneath the exterior is a slk32 car! there are more than a few 32 guys who read on here.
of course if i can get this done whos to say it cant be done for the srt-6 crowd?

Not sure if you saw this Steve, but one of our guys was able to fit a universal lip on the front of the lip-LESS Limited.

Which thread, your C/F lip thread on MB? There are only a handful of posts and no photos...

If it's buried deep in the bowels of MB-World, you might have to link me, because that site is huge and not the easiest to navigate. I'm still brushing up on all of my MB model codes (R170, W206, X305, C191, bla bla bla )

Not to mention there are 1,000 new posts per day LOL

I am not sure what is hard to figure out here. 32Krazy! is putting out a posting for a group buy for a CF front lip for SLK owners. He is posting it here and 2 other MB forums. In case you haven't noticed, there are many SLK owners that are long time members of this forum. As such, this is a viable place to put this information out. His last reference was to the fact that underneath our Crossfires is an SLK32 car. Well to be more specific, Underneath our SRT-6s is an SLK32. Underneath the NAs is the SLK320. The Crossfire was built on the SLK platform!

I don't know of any SLK posters other than him. Plus wouldn't they see this post on their "home" forums that cater directly to the SLK32?

You must be a newb if you think he's the only one that reads this forum. I find this place much more informative than any other SLK specific forum. When I'm looking for performance updgrades, mods, tips, information, etc, I come here. The other sites are much more focused on the 230/320 platform.

I've noticed several SLK32 owners on this forum, even met with a few of them. As with any group buy, if you're able to get 1-2 additional names, it could mean the difference between a successful group buy and a pipe dream that never gets produced. It's not a 100% SRT related post, but how often are our modifications 100% mopar? Very, very often we troll the MB boards for part numbers and cheaper sources. If they allow us in their playhouse, we most certainly can allow them to play in ours. Even if they don't stay 'on topic'.

Like others have stated, most MB boards discuss quality gripes and most threads pertain to peeling interiors and chrome pull handles. We Crossfire owners, for whatever reason, tend to wrench more on our rides. Wrenching = knowledge and speed. I'm all for sharing.
