weight savings about 50 lbs. gains minimal sound awesome!! takes about 1,5 hrs at any competent muffler shop. i would also recommend considering the secondary cat delete. another 20 lbs saved and imo the perfect sound with the amg muffler!
as for hp gains i didnt dyno so cant speak to that. didnt really feel any diff. but sounds SOOOOO much better!
another thing to consider is using a dual inlet /dual outlet muffler and getting a true dual setup. you only need about 3 feet of tubes to get it done.

I think I saw a 7hp gain with the res delete. Interesting enough, I sold my exhaust to member SRT6-Steve and he dynoed exactly 7 hp more than I did on our baseline runs for the Dallas Eurocharged Dyno tune day.

Search for member BrianBrave's res delete thread, he has great info on what parts to buy and pictures to go along. I orderd the parts as he did and even printed his pictures to show the guys ar the muffler shop what I wanted done!

Sorry for the stupid question but will i need to buy anything in advance before going into a muffler shop? Or will it be as easy as telling them what i want done? Thats a fair bit of weight saving If anyone has any sound clips i would be really keen to hear

my shop that did my install built all the parts needed. you can order the y splitter from burns stainless (brianbrave thread) and the connecting pipe but a bit pricey. top shelf products though.
i also cut out the oem h pipe and installed a magnaflow x pipe in its place. to my ear it smoothed out the sound and cut the drone down to almost nothing

also go easy on the words catalytic converter. shops get uneasy about removals due to laws. impress the fact that you have 4 cats and that the resonator has no emission purpose

Sounds unreal man, but in my personal opinion it makes it HEAPS louder lol, alot of members dont think so but I'm young and still think its really loud, it''s the only thing thats stopped me from removing my rear cats, im scared it'l be way to loud + as steve said a few muffler shops have refused to do it lol
