Anyway this is FUBU we are dealing with and his posts are not the most logical and generally can be taken with a pinch of salt. He has been on and on about an SRT-6 but has not done anything about it, I put him in the troll category.
Just go back over his previous posts.

Well, you have some opinions and that is all they are.....hang in there, you won't be disappointed w/ an SRT6....you just won't want to get out of it...
During my recent 4000 mile trek across North America, I observed that the highest range I can get at 80MPH is 300 miles before the fuel light comes on. My fuel efficiency drops off considerably when driving faster than 80MPH.
I can imagine fuel at 130MPH wouldn't last 2 hours.

plenty of time to fill up again before someone driving the same distance at
80 mph caught up with you

Touche.
Technically, it wouldn't be considered continuously, but it would undoubtedly be faster. And 100x more fun.

First off, FUBU writes English a dang sight better than many of our forum members and few of us know Swedish. Secondly, the primary rule of debate is to criticize the idea, not the person. So as fellow XF owners, stop with the insults. It's immature.
I think we established either XF can run for hours at high speeds but the gas mileage will be terrible. As far as speed limits, since when were SRT6 drivers worried about that little technicality?
Last, I read somewhere that speed limits in Montana are either high (80) or seldom enforced on the long open highway. Can anyone comment with facts?
And finally, I drove my roadster in the MI Upper Peninsula for about 20 miles at 100-120 mph. The temp needle never budged from it's normal range and my only fear were troopers or deer. These cars are rock solid and reliable at extreme speeds.

I am not saying who did it but there is a story here about two fellas, one with an SRT and the other with an NA, traveling for two hours at top speeds ranging from 100 to 160 MPH.
Both cars and both drivers seemed to have faired pretty well along with some apparent, fortunate, luck concerning the local law enforcement.
As the story goes, not at sustained speeds, but aggressively driving with lot's of accelerations and decelerations using the tranny's and the brake systems pretty heavily.
Since I wasn't there, I cannot attest to the veracity of the claims. Nor will the other driver, who was with me at the time.
