Gotta tell you, I kinda like that. I like the contrast of Black and White...
But NOT enough to pay $24K for an SRT Roadster with 18,000 miles on it.

I tried to buy the one in New York, he isn't going to budge...in it for the long run....if he sits on it long enough, he may get his price...certainly a perfect specimen....but, you can sit on them too long as well...things start to go wrong then...

I tried to buy that car as well (the one in Middletown, NY). I don't think the guy really wants to sell his car. Last time I spoke to him (June 2010) he said he wasn't going to sell his car, actually every time I spoke to him he didn't seem interested in trying to sell and instead tried to change the subject to a different car. I have the entire email history between us and he just felt like a scam waiting to happen/ That or he gets a huge ego boost when somebody becomes interested in his car (After I spoke to him he raised his price by three grand). In short I'm defintely putting a RED flag up against the sale of his car. If anybody feels interested in buying that car, PM me first, I'll pass along all the wierd information he gave me.

Hahah- I contacted this guy a few years ago (yes it's been listed that long) before I bought my SRT6. Not only was he not willing to budge- he was rather rude as well. Oh well- value is only going to go down and down. It's not like, miraculously, it's going to sky-rocket and he'll get the 25k he's asking. Too many great cars out nowadays in that price-range or less.

So what exactly is a fair price for a SRT6 with around 10,000 miles on it?

I'm asking because I am interested in purchasing once the winter months have cleared. Just want to see what everyone thought would be a good price for say 20,000 miles and less.
thanks guys.

You are going to get VERY different answers in here and honestly the prices are all over the map for a few different reasons. Mostly owners underselling or overselling, but you are also looking at a 5 year old car...so condition, mods, problems starts really coming into play.

I'm going to assume the car is in near perfect condition. Average retail price would be around $16,000 to $19,000. Anything under that would be a pretty good deal.

Now...queue all the the people (jerks) who like to boast how they got a SRT-6 with 20,000 miles for $13k....

Hope that helps answer you question a little.

I can give you a real example. Mine has 10,800 on it now with warranty until 2013 or 50k miles and I'm selling it for 17,900. I think that is a fair price and should hold that number until the car reaches 20,000 miles whenever that may happen. Higher mileage cars will show up for alot less but so will high mileage E55's. Great deal upfront until a major component goes out and cost you half of what you paid. These are not Chrysler's.

.

Hey- getting a good deal doesn't make you a "jerk". If I was going to spend in the upwards of 20k for an SRT6 it better have LOW miles and NO mods.

05 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 - ONLY 9K Miles!!

not mine.

I was going to stop by the dealer and take a look at this one today but didn't have time. Just wanted to see what a near mint 6 looked like. I don't need a 2nd coupe. Now if it was a roadster, that's another story.

I got mine in July w/50k miles and have already put 7k on it. :)
