Default "Clunk" noise when losing traction around a corner

I have noticed the past few weeks when I drive without traction control and let the rear loose around a turn I hear a "clunk" from the back. Does it when turning left or right. I tried going back and forth and it does it once per turn. Fairly loud, almost as if something was in the trunk flying back and forth (I did check and nothing is there, also took all of the flat tire crap out except the foam).

Any ideas where I should start looking?

The rear stabilizer attachment point has had weld failure problems. Try a search on that, it may be the problem.

The steering stabilizer? The one in the front? Or is there some stabilizer in the back?

The only other related symptom I have noticed is what sounds like a bad bushing on the rear driver side. When I bounce the car I can hear it grind a little bit.

Here's what I'm talking about.

Interesting, I'll have to jack it up tonight and poke around

Found some threads on other forums with my exact symptoms that also point to the sway-bar being loose. I'm hoping for loose and not falling apart!

If it is not sway bars, I just had clunk in rear end going over bumps. They changed my rear shocks and took care of clunk.
