Congrats on the new purchase. I'm curious to see how the SRT4 forums view the SRT6. It seems like the other SRT forums don't even recognize or acknowledge our SRT's

Yeah, it would appear that our half breed is truly the illegitimate stepchild of the Daimler Chrysler marriage. The Mercedes crowd doesn't wanna be seen with us and the good ole boy "it's got a Hemi" crowd believes we don't have a "real engine". I LOVE IT! Seriously, that's part of the attraction of this car for me. Be thankful that 99.999999% of buyers either don't know what the car is or totally dismiss it as an overpriced Chrysler. These cars are a huge bargain. Now shhhhh!

Nice, what color? I picked up an SSB coupe with 17,500 miles a week ago today. Enjoy the car. It should be a nice step up in comfort and features from the SRT-4. And now you've got a car with the drive wheels positioned properly. No more torque steer FTW.

I fell in love with the car when I drove it around barbers motorsports back in 05 when I did the srt track experience.

Maybe the stuck-up ones that drive thier cars slowly on Sunday... Those of us with "the donor car" have much respect. If it wasn't for the SRT-6 crowd, there would be NO performance upgrades for us!

And congrats on the buy!

When I picked my SRT-6 up, I drove the hour home only stopping to fill up with gas near my house. Now, I've had the S2000 for three years and in that time I've had maybe a half dozen people stop me to talk about the car or chat me up in traffic when I had the top down. Most knew nothing about the car. When I stopped for gas with the SRT-6, the one and only time I've had it out so far, another guy filling his pickup watched me roll into the gas station and literally pivoted around as I pulled up to a pump. He wasn't taking his eyes off the car. It was a little weird. As soon as I got out of the car, he left his truck and came over to ask about the Crossfire. Once again, he knew nothing about the car. When I told him only 2,016 were built, he seemed impressed. When I told him there was a supercharged V6 under the hood, he seemed in awe. I don't know if he realized it was a Chrysler by the badging. Anyway, the guy wouldn't leave until I got back into the car to drive away. That's why I love this car. Love or hate the looks, there's nothing else like it out there. It does turn heads.
