Dual Cold Air Intake XStream Filters Supercooler Problem
I installed my dual cold air today from Rob and I got the Xstream larger filters, I already have the supercooler installed and now I can't get my grill(e) back on.
Any suggestions/tips for getting 10 pounds into a 5 pound bag?
Thanks for any help

It's been done before, but I couldn't get it to fit no matter what I tried. I have the smaller filters now and I had a heck of a time getting them orientated so the grill would go on. I'm assuming that you relocated the horns and used the power steering line replacement.

well, supercooler, big filters, and there is just so much room...measure and fit the proper size filters. Like Les asked, are the horns relocated, and did you get the power steering line out of the way? I am at work, so I can't load or view photos, but I went to SRTSIX's grille in order to have the larger filters...and they just do fit....
the extreme filters were possibly meant for the track only as most folks remove the grille. i think oledoc hit the nail on the head, when i bought cruzinquicks dual cai for my slk32 i already had the supercooler. no way the oem grill was going back on my 32. i had a custom grill made and everything just barely fits.
so you have 2 choices, custom grill to allow more room or the regular filters

they fit it is just very tight, you will need to play with the connection where the 90deg aluminum bends are inserted into the radiator passthru hoses. you most likely just need to insert the elbows a little further in or out depending on what is having the problem with clearance. give me a call.

How big are those filters?
Mine are 6 1/2" and they still have some room but they are on flex hose.
The hoses are each 40" in length making them very easy to pull out for inspection or cleaning.

I keep the smaller filter on for everyday use and use the extreme filter only at the track with the grill off. The car loves me.
