Who's that sitting in my SRT?

Saturday is the "Cruisin the Drag" One of Montana's biggest car shows.
I just had my car buffed out and waxed yesterday (I can no longer wax it without a lift due to my legs) and it looked like a rare Million Bucks.
Went for a drive and to show it to my wife at her restuarant which is next to one of Montana's biggest westernware stores. As soon as I opened my door I was met and surrounded by Cowboy hats marvelling at the car. The owner of the store without any delay asked if he could sit in the passenger seat, I was getting out so I said why not get in the driver's seat. At this point I had several people totally in love with the car asking as many questions as a horse shoe has nails. They loved the fact they could sit in it with their hats on. "That has more room than my truck". Finally I was allowed to go visit my wife. Sitting near the windows enjoyng a Mike's hard Lemonade in "Bert and Ernies" while chatting with my wife, passerbys kept slowing, some coming to a stop and starring. When I left I was asked to get out of the car one more time for a friend of the stores owner that still was bragging about the car. I gladly take the time to show this off to anyone that shows interest.
I love this car!
Mike

They must have been some tiny cowboys. I'm cursed with being 6'5 and loving small sporty cars and one major bonus point was i could almost sit uip straight in it when i bought it. after lowering the seat and removing the knee bolster i still didn't technically fit but it was more than managable for short drives. I even did a drive from st. louis to chicago in it but with a slightly angry back.

The Crossfire makes me appreciative for being 5'6" - there's plenty of room. But you are right about drawing attention. I took the roadster out of winter hibernation last weekend, waxed and detailed her, and then took a ride. As I passed a couple teenage boys walking on the sidewalk, one yelled out "Nice car". I totally agree, dudes.

Awesome. Sports cars stay looking great years after they have been introduced.

Wonderful Montana story! I was first introduced to the Crossfire by a (well known and award winning) Chrysler parts rep who has a 2nd home in Montana. He and his wife have been my friends for about 1000 years. He told me I would love the XFire. I was driving a Sebring at the time. I looked at the Crossfire design, and said 'yes' - that car is for me! It only took me about 8 years to accomplish the goal. The rep is now retired and one of the first things I did was send an email to him and his wife - saying 'I finally got one!"

Glad to hear that your XFire is out and about in Montana! Alicia
