well im slowly getting my new 32 were i want it. engine mods are done, custom 3 piece avus rims wrapped in hankook v12 rubber 225/40-18 front and 265/35-18 rears. car is hella flush!! more to come the paint is coming around the hood , roof an ddecklid have been polished and the swirl is gone. paint respray has to wait a bit the wheels were to good a deal to pass!:p


so without further adue heres my everst green slk32!! ( btw i suck at foto taking!)

im the one that stole them doc! he paid 5200$ new and put 5 ,000 miles on them . i got them shipped for the cost of 1 wheel!

To be perfectly honest, I never paid much attention to the Mercedes SLK. It looked OK to me, it just never got me very excited.
But after seeing your old one at the Dragon, and now this new "Green" one, I have admit, they're pretty nice looking cars, and around here (for the most part) kind of rare.
Yours looks especially nice. Great job.

Agreed, that body style is the only Merc I really cared for. This one really stands out.

thanx to everyone for the positive comments. i wasnt sure about the color to be honest. after boilerupxfire looked at the car and a ton of pics later a few folks whos opinion i value said go for it! so im glad i did. havent seen another green 32 not sure i will!:p
for grins 3440 slk32's built in 3 yrs. approx 342 built in 03 so mine is indeed a rare bird

Steve, that looks absolutely tremendous. So nice to see your car coming along, and without a doubt it's one of the best looking SLK's I've ever seen.

whats even better doc was discount tire hooked me up with the new tires for 652$ mounted and balanced out the door!! they gave me 110$ in discounts. they rock!

for now i need to build some brakets for my rear calipers then the bbk goes on.

for everyone in the columbus oh area timmayfest is next weekend. ill be there with about 150 bmw and mrecedes racing at marion racetrack fri nite. sat is a car show at quaker steak and lube. stop by say hello!

It took you forever to get those pictures taken! I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever see your green SLK. I see a couple SLK's every day and they don't inspire me at all. Your's does. Really nice job.

Just thinking are you on the correct forum , You should be over on SLKWorld forum , I know its a little bit of a grey line between a R170 32 AMG & a SRT6 . But still looks good Xfire or not & this coming from a ex crossfire owner :confused: ( so what am i doing here) It must be this forum IT ROCKS :cool:

zerozero im in the right place. concerning the slk32 this forum has more active racers and modders than any of the mb forums. im on a host of forums but this place is by far the best!

I think this one is prettier than the old one. Still a subtle car but not basic black. Just be careful with that green - I have had several cars (including my current daily driver) in that color & they are accident attractors!!! I have been told I blend with trees, blending with buildings, blended with bushes. You get the idea.
