Needswings mani gaskets
for those of you who are running needswings mani gaskets are yall using sto oem gaskets or the cork gaskets. I tried to install nw cork gaskets when i turned car on it was ideling like at 3k rpm. maybe i installed them wrong
I spray contact cement over the side of gasket that will mount towards the removed intake manifold. After a couple of minutes of tack drying time,I elign the gasket to the intake manifold, then firmly press down the gasket. After several hours of final drying time or next day,I bolt them to the block. Only after smearing anti-seize onto the manifolds bolt's threads. For the next 5 days of driving the car,I recheck the torque after the engine has had all night to cool down. I'm running a 185 pulley and haven't had a gasket failure yet. Works for me anyway.
