SLK32 AMG Engine Plaque...
I'll buy a $100 one if I can find a website that sells them and... would show me a photo of the item I am purchasing - it's gotta be pwretty - the link below doesnt.
ha...I know what about a new logo that says.....my iAMG

I was suprised to learn the SRT6 was most probably borne out of the fact that Daimler-Chrysler bought out AMG in 2006.....

I would suggest to the owner of this original plaque that he should ask more than a C-note.
The website and ordering instructions are in the second post grip-grip linked you to, early in the thread:

That's if you want a new one in mint condition. It's an OEM part, so it will look like all the other name plaques linked earlier. As Dave mentioned, Sparkie has one for sale too

"Shorn of its decorative plastic sombrero, this Mercedes engine would look more familiar. It rolls out of the AMG handicraft shop in Affalterbach, Germany, and previously found work in the SLK32 AMG and C32 AMG. Both of those models have since gone to V-8s, and Mercedes has developed a new 268-hp, twin-cam, four-valve naturally aspirated V-6 for its 2005 SLK350 ( C/D, June 2004). So the Crossfire SRT-6 is the last customer of a very nice hand-me-down."
