This VIN# database is strictly for the collection of SRT6's. This database is not for any other Crossfire model. Based upon the color of your Crossfire, Blaze Red, it is not a SRT6.
Chrysler built only 296 SRT6 2006 models, with less than a dozen shipped to the USA, based upon the VIN database.
I would need to see pictures of your car, showing the following SRT6 items, supercharged engine, fixed rear spoiler, SRT6 embroidered seats and a dash with SRT6 labeled in the tachometer, just to mention a few differences between the SRT6 and the other models, Limited, Base and the SE.

I have a comment... When adding a new SRT6 VIN to the database, shouldn't we confirm that it is actually an SRT6? I say that because people often think their NA is an SRT6 just because they don't know the difference. I even had this one guy in one of my groups swear his black Limited Roadster was an SRT6. It had NA rims, bumper, fin. When I told him his car did not look like an SRT6 and asked for pictures of his engine, he back-tracked.

 

Just ask for the complete VIN.
My NA is an SRT Clone. It has the SC engine, SRT Seats, SRT on the Tach, SRT on the deck lid and a fixed wing but its still an NA the "L" or N in the Vin tells the story

Just rebuilt the fixed wing and had the SRT OEM wheels refurbished

You can purchase almost everything to turn your NA into an SRT but the VIN gives it away.

I've been diligently collecting the VIN#'s for the database for quite a few years, dating back to 2010 for MikeR. This is a time consuming effort, since I review every VIN# before it's added and published to this thread.

I will review the issues that were addressed concerning the legitimacy of the STR6 VIN Database for the last several years. As a result of cooper16's submission of his VIN number and Red Blaze color, his offering has been rejected based upon the color and rarity of a 2006 SRT6 model that arrived in the USA.

There are variations in the SRT6 listed below:

2005 Coupe: 1 C 3 A N 7 9 N 7 5X 000000 (The "9" is the ID for the Coupe body type)
2005 Roadster: 1 3 A N 7 5 N 7 5X 000000 ( The 1st "5" is the ID for the Roadster body type)

2006 Coupe: 1 C 3 A N 7 9 N 7 6X 000000 (The "9" is the ID for the Coupe body type)
2006 Roadster: 1 3 A N 7 5 N 7 6X 000000 ( The "5" is the ID for the Roadster body type)

The VIN# database is based upon the VIN# that is assigned to the SRT6 at the Karmann factory at the time of the initial car manufacturing process.

Any other Crossfires, altered to look like an SRT6, will not be included in the database. Listed below are a few of the NON-SRT6 VIN#'s that will be rejected:

Base Model: 1C3LN59L2 + YEAR + 000000
Limited Roadster: 1C3LN65L9 + YEAR + 000000
Limited Coupe: 1C3AN69L9 + YEAR + 000000
SE Roadster: 1C3LN55L1 + YEAR + 000000

Any errors detected in the database are corrected immediately, assuring a correct database until Chrysler decides to provide a complete and correct VIN# database.

The majority of the VIN#'s are obtained through Internet sales sites, from various dealerships throughout the USA.

I assume an owner of a Crossfire knows the difference between an SRT6 and all other models!

i apologize for using your space to get some info on my 2004 coupe, but i seen you talking about serial numbers, so i figured to ask anyway. i recently had work done on my xfire, to make a long story short, i suposedly had a used transmission installed mine was slipping, somewhat, i weas told i needed a new one..i get vthe car back, its still slips, here and there, and, well my question is, is my vin #, on the engine, and the transmission, and the # on my dash, would be all matching, coming from the factory, right? pleaqse help me, i need to know where the vin # is located on my trans. if it doesnt match up with the other #s on motor, then he probably installed a different one. but it feels like they just changed the fluid, cuz it still acting like the old one.. any advice or suggestions, for me..? a premature thanx to anyone that can help......charles921545 bummed out in chino hills, ca..

Sorry, but not aware of the location of the VIN# on the transmission, but sure it's on the case somewhere. It is located on several body parts. Are you sure its a tranny problem? Where was the work done, a Chrysler dealer, a transmission shop or an independent shop?
Look under the technical section, engine/transmission thread......

hello dennis, my car is listed as 1123 on the list it is not a roadster it is a coupe, and it is not aeroblue it is graphite. just wanted to let you know and try and keep the list legit! thanks for keeping up with the list all this time.

sorry dennis, im an idiot!!! that vin# for list# 1123 is not my vin#, mine is correct 57373 on the list.
but then again i do not nor have not owned list# 1123.

Acquired a Black SRT-6 Roadster over the weekend for stupid stupid cheap. Car would not start from the key after a bunch of upgrades (ECU/TCM tune, 65mm pulley). Found a CANbus connector knocked loose. Anyway, bought it out of Tacoma, Wa and towed it home to Boise, Id. Last 8 of the VIN is 5X052531

Apparently I purchased it from Srgrumpy
