Default Evosport, doesn't seem to send my items

Hi everyone!

Does anybody know anything about Evosport??
I have ordered and payed my items 20th of december 2012 and still havent recieved anything. My order contained the following items:

- Evosport brake rotor set for a CLK63, 360mm fronts and 330mm rear
- brake line set
- porterfield brake pads
- front and rear sway bar for a slk32 amg
- titanium shims set

The total order value is about 3200usd. I have had over 100 mail conversations with them about why the order was delayed but always got different answers. The people that I have been in contact with is Jose and Simon.
Jose dont seem to be in the company anymore. They have always answered my mails and the phone but the last 3 weeks I havent heard anything from them.

Does anybody here on the forum live near Evosport? Or does anybody here know anything about them? Have they closed down there business? Have I lost my money?

I would be greatful if somebody could help me out. To bad that I live in Sweden.

Thanks in advance

Adam,

If you're a member on MB-World.org, post this over there -- Evosport is a vendor on that site and I'm sure the risk of negative publicity would prompt some action.

All the best,

I'm actually gonna be in Huntington Beach on Saturday. I'll swing by and check it out for you. I've been actually trying to access their website for some time now without success. For your sake, I hope they're still in business! I'll let you know...

Hi!

A big thanks for you. Yes, I hope that they are still in business or else I can just say goodbye to my money.

Lets hope this is not the case

Not good news the way I see it.
From what I see Evosport has been on the ropes for a few years. Google 'Evosport and bankrupt'.

If you paid using a credit card, you should look into filing a charge back as soon as possible.

Same if you used PayPal. I hope you have this option since your other options will be insisting upon a refund and if that doesn't work filing a claim.

Thumbs down Re: Evosport, doesn't seem to send my items

They are officially shut down. Their website is shut down as well. They are just responding to emails until they file bankruptcy. They have been shut out of their shop due to non-payments. It is very sad. Many people had paid substantial amounts for products and projects. They are almost out of business. While they continue to email people etc. Unless they issue a refund, basically you are one of the victims of badly managed company that is out of funds.

That's to bad. I have now lost 3200USD. I'm so agree, I would like to kick some as.

I have actually talked to Simon a couple of Days ago where he promised that he will pay me back my Money but I Think it is just BS. He promised me that he would get back to me in a mail which he didn't so that he will pay me back seems to be way to optimistic.

My girlfrind is actually in CF right now and will visit them today, lets see what she can do onsite.

Thanks anyway for your response.

Just so that everybody knows. RacingBrakes.com has actually a lightwight rotors for the CLK63 amg which will actually fit our car with the CLK63 amg calipers. The fron rotors weights are 21.8lb and the rears are 15lb.

I will try to get hold of one set for my car , where I already have the calipers

/Adam

Here are the articlenumbers for the rotors to the CLK63 AMG standard calipers that fits our cars:

Rotors & Brake Kits

2266 for the fronts(355mm rotors), 21.8lb for the fronts each
2289 for the rears(330mm rotors), 15 lb for the rears each

So is that the final word? Evosport is gone?

Does anyone know where else I can get an underdrive pulley set? Or, even better is there a company that just makes lighter pulley systems?

If not then I guess when I get the CAI on my N/A I'll be done with the performance mods on my car. :'(

Evosport pulleys on an NA are not worth the money. I know because I had them on my car and now they are in a box somewhere. I doubt they will act any different on a srt6. so many other ways to get a little faster

Selbyl's question was;
Or, even better is there a company that just makes lighter pulley systems?
