Default Electrical issue with alarm system?

Ok so this is the second crossfire i have owned, but first with an odd electrical issue. It is an srt6 with only 20k miles. I havent driven the car in about 2 months until yesterday. I charged the battery up and drove it yesterday and all was well. I drove it again today, and after a few hours of sitting, the alarm randomly went off. I went to cut it off and couldn't get it to go off. It finally went off by itself. I got in the car and there is this clicking noise behind the dash about every other second and the caution flashers were randomly going off on the exterior of the car, but I had not pressed for them to be on. Any ideas as to what it could be? Thanks for any help!

You think it would? The battery has plenty of charge to turn the car on.

Classic symptoms of a sick battery. If this weren't a SRT6, the spoiler would also be deploying by itself ......

( but then, that just my 2 cents - take it for what it's worth )

Simple question, is it the original battery?
If so, that could well be the culprit. Mind you others have ran the OEM battery for years past when I would change it.

Sounds like your alarm siren is on its way out. If charging the main battery doesn't fix the issue I would suggest you disconnect the siren which is under the cowl in front of the windshield. Do a search, there is a post from me where I took the siren apart and repaired it. Working from my phone so can't find you a link.
