SRT6 Floor Mats - "DISCONTINUED"
Are the seat belt pads and fender covers (2005 SRT-6) going to be available after May 1st? I know this thread was started regarding the floor and trunk mats but I may want the other items at a later date if they are not being discontinued.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Some non CICCI members are asking that CICCI members place an order on their behalf. In fact early on I also made this request before I realized that I just needed to renew my membership fees to be able to place an order for myself.
IMHO, to order a set of these (or any available CICCI item) for someone who is just trying to avoid having to pay a membership fee to CICCI (a very reasonable annual fee) is simply "not right". CICCI made a significant investment of time and effort getting the licensing rights, brokering agreements with manufacturers, etc. to developing and market the products they offer to their members. We should not actively work to "cut them out" of their annual membership fee.
OK - Let me step away from the pulpit. Let the haters begin . . .

When did you order yours? I haven't heard anything on mine.
I ordered when it was first announced. Guess I got at the front of the line.
My two sets of 2006 style SRT6 floor mats and two trunk mats arrived here today. I am VERY impressed with the quality of these products! THANKS CICCI . . .
Now that these seem to be officially gone and no more orders are possible, does anyone know of anyplace else to get SRT6 floormats? (BTW, I agree that the CICCI site makes joining difficult - that's why I didn't buy the mats when I first bought my SRT6 a couple of years ago...)

Joining is not "difficult"...it may not be as expedient as people wishing to join would prefer...the members running CICCI are volunteering their time outside jobs, family, personal life, etc.. CICCI is not a business with paid employees.
That said, the SRT6 matts were made possible by a CICCI founder making contract agreements with Chrysler and the matt manufacturer. The manufacture informed us that they were discontinuing the matts and this was the only manufacturer Chrysler would grant a licenses to. Maybe you can find a manufacturer to make a knockoff.

Take your old OEM mats and give them a good wash with washing powder, rinse them thoroughly with a strong spray from a hose, hang them to dry and they may look like new. Mine did anyway.

How do mats work? I thought you did all the work when you wiped your feet. Or do these mats have batteries?
