Are the seat belt pads and fender covers (2005 SRT-6) going to be available after May 1st? I know this thread was started regarding the floor and trunk mats but I may want the other items at a later date if they are not being discontinued.

Thanks!

IMHO, to order a set of these (or any available CICCI item) for someone who is just trying to avoid having to pay a membership fee to CICCI (a very reasonable annual fee) is simply "not right". CICCI made a significant investment of time and effort getting the licensing rights, brokering agreements with manufacturers, etc. to developing and market the products they offer to their members. We should not actively work to "cut them out" of their annual membership fee.

OK - Let me step away from the pulpit. Let the haters begin . . .

I have no problem paying the fee, but They need to speed up and streamline the process. I am going to be be pissed if I spend $35 & miss the days deadline

When did you order yours? I haven't heard anything on mine.

I ordered when it was first announced. Guess I got at the front of the line.

Now that these seem to be officially gone and no more orders are possible, does anyone know of anyplace else to get SRT6 floormats? (BTW, I agree that the CICCI site makes joining difficult - that's why I didn't buy the mats when I first bought my SRT6 a couple of years ago...)

Joining is not "difficult"...it may not be as expedient as people wishing to join would prefer...the members running CICCI are volunteering their time outside jobs, family, personal life, etc.. CICCI is not a business with paid employees.

That said, the SRT6 matts were made possible by a CICCI founder making contract agreements with Chrysler and the matt manufacturer. The manufacture informed us that they were discontinuing the matts and this was the only manufacturer Chrysler would grant a licenses to. Maybe you can find a manufacturer to make a knockoff.

What you say is very true. But thinking selling floor mats to those who wanted a set was ducking a membership was bullshit. The CICCI Club would have benefited from those sales, whether people joined or not. I wish now I had ordered 10 sets. Seeing this old thread just reminded me why I don't help much anymore on here. Too many with a quick opinion. **** poor leadership. Except for CICCI logo'd items, the store should be open to anyone. There are some great members over there, and there are those who are here and there, that just don't get it. I am glad for the separation, but if this bullshit carries over to that site... I might as well go back to Chevy's.... That way I know I am in an argument every time I post... It would have been good will to have helped those who wanted a set. I liked the set so much, I went ahead and installed them in the roadster. They are quality mats. Maybe all you future leaders of CICCI will learn that if you want to sell the club, reach out once in awhile and help those with items or parts that will help those on this site, and just maybe they won't think we are some secret society. And RED DOG, I did 35 yrs putting up with bullshit and I shot no one.....you want to be Prez.... then take the advice. Start being more open to those who don't have access.... Sorry I didn't order more mats....but that bullshit and the bullshit from up North has done me in on here. I come back only to finish a few projects on the cars and then I am done...The friends I have made here are priceless and they don't give me ****. Those that do can kiss my ole' fat ***.. Carry on...life is too short for bullshit.

How do mats work? I thought you did all the work when you wiped your feet. Or do these mats have batteries?
Take your old OEM mats and give them a good wash with washing powder, rinse them thoroughly with a strong spray from a hose, hang them to dry and they may look like new. Mine did anyway.

Well they work meaning the snaps are in the right position and of nice quality not some cheap stuff. They stay in place and don't move all over the car. Yea mine has batteries they massage my feet to. Ha
