Editor not super flattering, but still thought it was worth sharing here.

It should be #1, you drop 3k in mods and you have a car that will run low 12's all day everyday reliably. Problem is, if you want to go faster your up **** creek.
For the price you can pick these things up, there value makes them #1.

I have never seen a dog taking a crap that resembles a Crossfire, but that phrase seems to have stuck.
Cheap shot they could not resist.
That said they also could not resist the obvious value of our pocket rocket as a thrifty package of fun.

I don't know where you got your info but you can go faster, even into the mid 11's.
10s are possible with a 55K swap
But then you are over the $15K budget. ( and the 55K swap can be done on the NA as well, this is about the SRT6).
All it proves is the well known axiom that if you strap enough horsepower on a bathtub, you can make it fly.
The beauty of the SRT Crossfire is more than the 1/4 mile possibilities, if modded. Stock the car is a superb driving car both on the street, and in the twisties.

Amen to that. Along with any HP mods, you should add good rubber, maybe wider wheels and tires and a better compound brake. They are excellent road cars.
