Need pics of YOUR SRT-6 TCU please!
I'm trying to help Slagburger diagnose some gremlins with his steal of a car and need the help of fellow SRT-6 owners. We have already determined the RCM has bad solder joints after swapping mine in. His will be headed to tighed_1 soon. I have a suspicion that the TCU was swapped at some point and is responsible for his limp mode problem considering the "Implausible Gear" code. Already took pics of my coupe's TCU, Kim's Limited and SRT-6 roadsters, and every one I could find on eBay. His doesn't match certain numbers that the rest share in common.
Now comes the fun part of joining this community, helping each other. I need clear pics of the SIEMENS sticker on your TCUs! If you need help locating it, it's easy. Just pull the passenger floor mat back, reach in the footwell and pull the carpet down (no clips, don't worry) and pull out the white foam pad. Three 10mm plastic nuts at the top center and bottom corners (extension helps) hold the steel plate you're staring at. Once they're removed, just pull up on the plate to clear the lower studs and the plate will rotate down towards you. You will be looking at the amplifier and the TCU and other things. The little black box with the SIEMENS sticker is what we need more examples of.
I thank you ahead of time for any assistance! I've attached some examples to give you an example of what's needed.

chuck there are 5 or 6 tcu's that can be used, the important part is that the srt 6 uses the EGS52 the p/n can be different but all tcu's from a srt6 will work in all srt 6's, try yours in his car jim
The part numbers shown in the photos are the 11th, 12th and 13th versions of the same basic module with the Mercedes part number A 033 545 11 32. The red number denotes the version.
