Post SRT6 Market Value

Just did a quick search for used SRT6 and here are some rough numbers.

Mileage Range/ Price Range/ Note

0-30,000/ $20,000-$25,000/ 40%-50% of MSRP 12 years later

35,000-80,000/ $12,000-$18,000/ 24%-36% of MSRP

85,000 +/ $5,000-$10,000/ 10%- 20% of MSRP

Thoughts?

They are finally appreciating, so I'd appreciate someone snatching mine up before I raise the price.

I'm surprised and happy to see the prices creeping back up. Much respect to you normal guys that keep a car longer than a few months.

With 33k on the odo and $22500 invested back in 2008, I am glad I am back to even. I only drive 1-2k/year and it is all stock, so maybe it will slowly increase in value not that I plan to part with it.

What they list for and what they sell for are different numbers. I know of a 37k mile SRT-6 bought for less than $4K and another 6 roadster for $5,800. Ours aren't going anywhere regardless.

I think I paid 17k for mine. I still feel like I stole it.

Correct. Those prices listed by the OP seem a bit too optimistic.

If you are an owner of a crossfire don't expect to make money off it. The best case scenario is that your depreciation expense won't be as high as other cars, maybe.

If you want to preserve your wealth then buy Gold.

If you want to grow your wealth then buy Gold Mining Stocks.

If you want to diminish your wealth then buy a car.
