My left turn signal works sometimes when pressing switch down part way for lane change but not all the way down. Em flashers ok and right works, is this always the multi function switch ?

 

It sounds like it. Here's something to try before you take the steering column apart. Try spraying some contact cleaner in there a little at a time. The bad thing is, like dials ,the turn signals get heavy handed an you have to remember these are little plastic parts that stretch in summer an break in cold winter weather. I hope this works , good luck. (Check bulbs also, have someone watch)

 

Will give the cleaner a try. The bulbs are all good. I don't want to pop for a replacement sw if it is something else.
