if it is leaking replace it, it goes without saying to clean, and inspect the assembly while you have the boot off.

I have been doing a lot research and the outer boot is not available, factory costs vary for a new axle from 1100S to 820$. Rob was able to locate only one axle for less.
Ill work on it after carlisle trip, and I may have found a solution for this, more when I check it out. ;) Enjoy, Woody |

We never hear of people checking the various boots on the car and we should do it more often, it can save a lot of expense and headaches later.
There are various repairs available, split boots, rubber repair kits etc. I shall look later.:rolleyes: |

I found a supplier of a new axle on ebay for 90$. Ill let you know how it goes when it arrives. Woody
