I've had my Limited Roadster for less than a month, but for some reason in the last few days I started searching for SRT-6s for sale. I think I might be sick. Should I ask for buying advice from people who know them well, or should I see a doctor?
This one came up for sale but had sold within two days of listing: https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ngId=509021212
I'm communicating about this one now https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ngId=513188749 I've never attached pictures before but I'll try to put up some he ZIP'ed me.
I'm looking for sage SRT-6 buying advice. What would you experienced guys look for? Mileage cap? I'm not one of those guys who intends to modify it like crazy. I don't want to put on a bigger pulley for instance. I was thinking:
1) Eurocharged ECU tune
2) Eurocharged TCU tune
3) NeedsWings r193/r170 Cat Delete Downpipes
If you could specifically look at the two cars above and critique them, both positive & negative, that would help too. I'll see if I can attach those pictures now. I've asked the seller AGAIN for chassis pictures but not received them. Is that a red flag?
Thanks guys, Matt
Re: SRT-6: Looking for buying advice
No. Since they're a VW dealer I asked them to put it up on a lift and take pictures of the chassis from below the car. I asked for engine pictures and those came immediately. I've asked for the chassis pictures a second time. Not only no pictures, not even a reply. I received a "stock" do you require any more information email, but no chassis pictures.

I responding about the SSB Roadster located at the VW Dealer in PA, not your "Friend's" car. My comments had nothing to do with the AB Coupe!

Here are the chassis shots I asked for. Not the size I'd hoped for. What do you guys think? Should I wait for something better?
Do I need to be more concerned about mileage with an SRT-6 since the engine is more highly stressed, or does it mostly come down to how well the car has been maintained? I guess this car doesn't exactly scream "garage kept", does it?
Re: SRT-6: Looking for buying advice
I have to go down to Florida in the next few weeks for some business. I'll let you know when my plans firm up.

Can't comment on the cars you're looking at, but I'm just curious, have you driven one yet ? Once you do, there's no looking back.........................you'll have to have one !
