Hi everyone, I got a 2005 xfire SRT6 with following issue, maybe can be 2 separate problems, but the following is the one I need to make clear In order to ask the second issue.

When I turn on the key before start engine the butterfly into the throttle body makes a klick “it looks is a normal sequence in different cars” but in my after 30 seconds the butterfly makes another weird adjustment, like another three klicks.
That’s my concern, is this normal plus you can hear a continuous “beeeeee” noise coming from the throttle body itself.

I have NEVER seen anything like this before. I'm actually stuck on suggesting anything but trying a different TB. IF the second does the same thing, I have no other suggestions. Just to be sure, no one was touching the pedal or anything else in the car right? Sorry that's all I can suggest, but I am sure someone else here will chime in to help. All the posts I read since becoming a member, never heard this issue. Good luck!

Already try a second Throttle and still the same issue. That’s why my doubts about is this. is normal or something else is causing the issue

 

My best guess is something to do with the fly by wire. I'm unfamiliar with where the TB signal sender is housed (throttle pedal?) but I'd take a look at it.

You never mentioned a second TB... Next, I agree with Les, makes sense since the pedal IS an integral part of the circuit. It also has the potential for being stomped/abused in its past life. Good luck!

Normal, just went to my car and it did the same thing. I have a srt-6.
