Mequiar's NXT 'Amped Up' Tech Wax

1 Attachment(s)
I don't know how long Mequiar's NXT 'Amped Up' Tech Wax has been on the
market, but I just came across it yesterday (it was the last bottle on the shelf,
so I bought it).

I've been a fan of the original NXT Tech Wax and was wondering if anyone has
tried the "Amped Up' version, and if they noticed a deeper wet look shine with
the new stuff before I open the bottle? Thanks for any inputs on the new stuff.

OT: I have also tried the Black Magic Wet Shine Liquid Wax after someone here
posted how good it was. My opinion:

- the shine from both waxes looked the same to me (hard to really tell the
difference on a SSB car)
- the Black Magic lasted longer
- the NXT goes on/comes off a lot easier.

I'll stay with the NXT because it's alot easier to use.

I could be wrong, but I think that is just the new bottle of NXT. They are changing the bottles/labels on a lot of their products.

Just checked the bottle I bought last month. It is the "new" Amped Up version (still had the green cap). I have not noticed any difference in the product after using it for the last month.

I just checked their website...it's the same stuff as the old NXT bottle. They just created a new slogan "amped up shine".

Sounds like "smoke and mirrors" if you ask me, just like the gimmick they use on the their clay bar box, what a joke.

NXT is a great product for producing an easy to achieve shine w/o a lot of effort but its something that has to be applied about every 3 weeks at the longest IMO. I'm not talking anyone out of using it, just stating what I've found over the past 2 years of using it off and on.
