So, who (or what) is bensbargaincenter, the referring shopkeeper in the link?

I like to know who I'm supporting if I click a sponsored link.

Ben's Bargains is just an aggregator of all the latest bargains on the web and local stores. They sell nothing. I browse it weekly for the latest deals. There are several of these sites out there.

I do think that if you click through their site to a vendor they likely get a penny thrown in their bucket. If you aren't comfortable with that just go to the seller's site directly.

They'll actually get 4 to 7% of the cost of the item as an Amazon affiliate.

I only ask because I see things like this as a lost opportunity for the CrossfireForum itself to make some money to defer hosting costs.

If the owner of https://www.crossfireforum.org/ supplied an Amazon associates' code then we could link to products in a way that would help support the board, not send money to a third party.
